The appliance is robust and stands securely on every surface. The refilling with the original Kigas gas cans takes a matter of seconds, and the 1.4 kW output is more than enough for all kinds of fondue. You don’t even need to turn it up to the maximum for a fondue bourguignonne. Another advantage in comparison with a paste or spirit burner: the flame is odourless and precision-adjustable. And with a burning time of approx. 2 hours on medium power, there is certain to be enough for the late arrivals to your party. Thanks to its smooth surface, the rechaud is easy to clean, and can also be stacked for better storage. Incidentally: Because the LongFire doesn’t require a cable, you can heat up your culinary creations anywhere – including the garden or the camp site.
